Rob Juárez’s CGI Sculptures Juxtapose Bubbly, Organic Shapes With Crisp Materials and Soft Lighting

In a dream-like world of stacked objects, Rob Juárez composes pastel colored CGI sculptures in a softly-lit virtual room. The sculptures feature a mix of both organic and exact objects assembled together with a blend of materials that range from industrial, to fleshy, to metallic. The result is this series — titled Sophia — of beautiful still life images that make the environment and lighting as much a part of the sculptures as the sculptures themselves.

In this series of “Sophia” I have created different interior spaces that are revealed through light and shapes, connecting elements with different materiality and forms that introduce us to a dream world, where everything is possible. A place where life grows.
